What happens after we die?
Short answer
Christians believe that those who trust in Jesus are with him after death, and that one day everyone will be raised to new bodily life in a renewed creation.
Deeper answer
Heaven is not the final destination — a renewed heaven and earth is. The hope of Christianity is not escape from the world but the healing of it.
